It was Halloween night, and the moon was full and bright. In a small town, there was a little pumpkin named Pumpkin. Pumpkin was very excited for Halloween. He had a new costume, and he couldn't wait to go trick-or-treating.

Pumpkin's mom and dad told him to be careful and to stay close to home. But Pumpkin was so excited that he forgot all about their warnings.

Pumpkin ran out of the house and into the night. He ran down the street, past the houses and the trees. He didn't even notice that he was getting further and further away from home.

Soon, Pumpkin came to a dark forest. He was all alone, and he was starting to get scared.

Suddenly, Pumpkin heard a noise. He turned around and saw a pair of glowing eyes. Pumpkin was terrified! He turned and ran as fast as he could.

Pumpkin ran through the forest, dodging trees and branches. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he had to get away from the glowing eyes.

Finally, Pumpkin came to a clearing. He stopped and looked around. He was safe! The glowing eyes were gone.

Pumpkin was tired and scared, but he was also relieved. He had escaped the forest, and he was on his way home.

Pumpkin turned and started to walk back the way he had come. He walked for a long time, but he couldn't find his way home.

Just when Pumpkin was about to give up, he saw a light in the distance. He ran towards the light, and soon he came to a house.

Pumpkin knocked on the door, and a kind old woman answered. Pumpkin told the woman his story, and she invited him in.

The woman gave Pumpkin some food and a place to sleep. Pumpkin was so grateful for the woman's kindness.

The next morning, Pumpkin woke up and said goodbye to the woman. He thanked her for her help, and then he set off for home.

Pumpkin walked for a long time, but finally he found his way home. He was so happy to see his mom and dad.

Pumpkin's mom and dad were so relieved to see him. They hugged him tightly and told him how much they loved him.

Pumpkin learned his lesson that night. He never forgot to stay close to home on Halloween.
