About the Author
Sharon Robinson is the daughter of Jackie Robinson. She is an author, educator, and social activist. She has written several books about her father's life and legacy, including Jackie Robinson: American Hero and Promises to Keep: How Jackie Robinson Changed America.
Robinson is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Law School. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and the Jackie Robinson Foundation. She is currently a Professor of History at Georgetown University.
